The history of the kolkhoz in the village Ciutulesti, Floresti raion

On the basis of the Leninist plan of building socialism in our country in the year 1949 for the first time in the village Ciutulesti the cooperation of individual estates was began. As a result of the cooperation of peasants' estates in the village Ciutulesti 2 kolkhozes were formed, "Matrosov" and "Kotovskii".
In the kolkhoz "Matrosov" had Manikovskii as the first president. Because com. Manikovskii left for training the president became Ciobanu I. C. He worked from the year 1949 till fall of 1950. In the kolkhoz Matrosov there were 2 field brigades run by com. Baraghin Pantelei Dim and Cazacu Nicolai Ivanovici. In these 2 brigades there were 2200 acres of land. When the kolkhoz was created there were 28 carriages drawn by horses (20 pare) very poor looking. There were 50 ploughs (3 pairs of bulls), there were 4 seeders pulled by 2 horses and hand worked, 20 diggers, there was only one treerat machine and it was worked by 8 horses. No tractors what's or ever.
Besides these 2 field brigades there were 2 brigades in charge with vines and orchards run by Untura Gheorghe Pavlovici and Visterniceanu Nicolai Alexandrovici. The surface covered with vines and orchards was 127 ha. The cattle were all hybrids, rarely one can find European cattle. The orchards were of the old kind with numerous kinds of trees. The workers were working industriously but the crops were little. The cause was lack of techniques.
After Ciobanu Ivan Constantinovici Sergheev Fiodor Fiodorovici was elected president that worked between the years 1950 and 1953 and after him Furdui Petru Ivan became president that worked from January 1953 until October of the same year.
In the kolkhoz "Kotovskii" the first president was Odagiu Ivan Mefodievici. In the kolkhoz there were 2 field brigades. The chief of the first brigade Ghimpu Vasilii Iachimovici and in the second brigade Turcanu David Ivanovici. In the building brigade the chief was Cremenciuc Grigorii Nicolaevici. After Odagiu the president was Jintita Fiodor Vasilievici and after him the president was Fornea Grigorii Tihinovici until the fall of the year 1953. That fall the kolkhozes "Matrosov" and "Kotovskii" unite and form one big kolkhoz in the whole village Ciutulesti, the villages Serbesti, Ion-Voda and Marinesti. The president of this newly formed kolkhoz was elected Mihaescu Gherasim Petrovici that worked between 1953 and 1956.
In the summer of 1956 the kolkhoz of Ciutulesti unites with the one in Casunca and a bigger kolkhoz "New Life" is created. The president was elected Soroceanu Evghenia Grigorievna that worked till spring of 1965. That year the kolkhozes are separated and Soroceanu Evghenia G. moves to the one in casunca and in Ciutulesti the kolkhoz "The Communist Ray" remains. The president of this kolkhoz was elected Covalciuc Profir Procopovici.
When the kolkhoz was first formed the land was ploughed by horse pulled ploughs, but step by step they began to plough it with tractor pulled ploughs. From year to year the life of the kolkhoz is more plentiful. Until the kolkhoz the peasants had no work and no shoes, but now they never go barefoot to work. Each year the members of the kolkhoz buy pretty furniture, radios and TVs.
So year by year through hard work, with the help of the state, the members of the artel transformed the estate in one of the most beautiful one, with a high level of mechanization. The land of the kolkhoz is now 4478 ha. Such valuable cultures as sugar and tobacco are being cultivated on large surfaces - sugar beet on 450 ha and tobacco on 20 ha, from each ha of sugar beet last year were gathered 168c, tobacco 19c, corn 650 ha 63c 47c, wheat 640ha 18 c, sunflower 385 ha 15c.
In the past the kolkhoz had 150 ha of vines mostly hybrid, now it has 334 ha 314 of which are of fine specimen.
   Orchards 246 ha 57ha.
Most of the vines are lifted up the ground.
If in the past the kolkhoz was provided with agricultural techniques from SMT from Marculesti, from the year 1958 the kolkhoz started to produce its own techniques and has the following machines:
   Tractors all types 41
   Combines all types 12
   Seeders 31
   Ploughs 36
   Cultivators 36
The kolkhoz developed its cattle area. When the kolkhoz was created it had a few cows and a few pigs and now it has big cattle 1398 from which there are 479 cows, 889 big pigs, 1024 small pigs, 543 sheep, and 4674 chickens from which 2419 lay eggs.
The high culture of agriculture brought to the rising of the amount of crops per hectare.
All these changes brought on the increase in kolkhoz revenues. They were last year 1383800 rub, and one day's wages 3 rubles 50 copeicas.
If in the year 1961 the kolkhoz built a building with 4 classrooms, in 1966 they started to build a school with 3 stories for 640 pupils, a cantina was built. This year a public bathroom was built, a combinat for social service is being built and there is a project to build a culture house with 600 places.
The free work for oneself, for the people brought in the houses of the members of the kolkhoz joy and wealth. And now each member tries his best to work harder, in order to meet the great celebration of the 50th Anniversary of great October and 100 years since Lenin's birth.
